Anupam Shirodkar mechkonnect on demand manufacturing

Founder Story

Anupam, a mechanical engineer with a strong background in manufacturing and supply chain management, has always been driven to innovate and improve processes. Before founding MechKonnect, he established Fylder Products, a trading firm that supplied components to various industries. This experience revealed a significant pain point: companies struggled to source custom parts efficiently.

This realization sparked Anupam’s interest in on-demand manufacturing, leading him to create MechKonnect in 2021. His mission was to bridge the gap between businesses and manufacturers, ensuring seamless access to high-quality custom parts. With expertise in vendor management, client acquisition, and process optimization, Anupam has built MechKonnect into a trusted industry name.

Outside of work, Anupam enjoys jogging and working out, drawing parallels between sports and entrepreneurship: resilience, teamwork, and thinking on one’s feet under pressure.

The idea for MechKonnect was born out of Anupam’s experience at Fylder Products, where he witnessed clients struggling to find reliable vendors, negotiate costs, and ensure quality. He envisioned a streamlined platform connecting businesses with the right manufacturing partners. Initially operating manually, Anupam now focuses on integrating AI and automation to make custom manufacturing as seamless as online ordering.

For Anupam, this journey is about transforming manufacturing, making high-quality production more accessible, and driving efficiency across industries.
